Meet The Team

Sally James

Owner

I started Sallywags from home in 2007. With the help and support of my family, Sallywags salon was opened in Northwood in August 2009. My passion was to grow the business so that every dog still felt like it was coming into my home. This has given us over 2,000 wonderful dogs to groom. We are very much a family business and the Sallywags staff and the dogs that come to us are welcomed into it with open arms. I have 3 dogs of my own who I absolutely adore. A standard Poodle called Mabel and two delightful Parti poodles, Zorro and Peggi.

Jane Antony

Groomer

Jane joined sallywags in January of 2023 as our new groomer after working in a busy salon in central London. Jane completed her Level 3 Dog Grooming C&G qualification in June 2022 and has already shown what an asset she is to the Sallywags team. Jane has a love for dogs and has her own Chihuahua called Daisy who is 7 years old. Janes favourite breed of dog to groom is a Poodle.

Fiona Fox

Receptionist

Fiona joined Sallywags in June of 2023 with extensive experience working with dogs as a doggy carer. Fiona has walked up to 18 dogs a day and has experience with training, enrichment, dog sitting/boarding and rescue fostering as well as being trained in dog first aid. Fiona has a love for animals, owning 3 cats and has a dream of one day owning a farm (with lots of dogs!).

Alfie Muir

Dog Grooming Apprentice

Alfie joined Sallywags in June 2023 as our newest Dog Grooming Apprentice after finishing school. Alfie has a love for animals and has been a fantastic asset to Sallywags as he pursues his passion for a career working with animals. Alfie has a greyhound called Chloe, who is also a regular at our daycare facility.

Emma Wishart

Dog Grooming Apprentice

Emma joined Sallywags in August 2022 as a Dog Grooming apprentice. After leaving school, Emma wanted to follow her passion of working with animals, so an apprenticeship at Sallywags was a great choice for her. Emma loves Dachshunds and has 2 of her own, Casa and Nova.
